Description
Benelux, "Deluxe Belux" Mostly Mint Collections of Belgium & Luxembourg, 1849-1984, At first glance, these two collections seem rather mediocre, but then a number of powerful mint sets appear pushing this to the next level. Belgium (1849-1982) consists of a mint/used collection in a Scott Specialty album along with the Belgian Congo , mint in a Lighthouse stockbook, and an exceptional mint collection of parcel post in a hingeless Schaubek album, which is nearly complete from 1935-82. Highlights include mint #121, 136-37, 221a, B69-77, B93-98, B99-105, B107-13, B460-61, B495-97, B498-502, B523-30, B532-37, B538-43, B555-57, B561-66, and used 6-8, 9, Q5. Luxembourg (1852-1984) is also in Scott and features such better as mint 60-69, 62a (signed), 82-93, 151, 217, 272-77, 279a, 318-20, 329-31, B65A-65Q, O80-98, and used 1-3, B151, O5, O18, etc, overall Fine to Very Fine, additional scans & video online.
