Description
Eisengeschnittene Pferdetrense, deutsch 16. Jahrhundert und ein 2. Exemplar. Grosse Trense eisengeschmiedet, geschnitten mit Liniendekor und alter Verzinnung. Geschwungene, durchbrochene Seitenstege mit kräftiger Bisskette, zwei starren Querstegen mit Fangringen, und starrem, zweiteiligem und konisch-hohlem Mundstück. Wohl alte Verzinnung, angelaufen. Ca. 28x17cm. Z 2 Vgl. R.Zschille/Forrer, Die Pferdetrense, Berlin 1893, Tafel 11 Nr. 2. Dazu ein kleineres 2. Exemplar eisengeschnitten, deutsch 15./16. Jahrhundert, korrodiert. Z 3. A large German iron curb bit with strong mouthpiece, 16th century and a second one.
