Jericho, situated a short distance east of Jerusalem, holds significance as one of the ancient cities of the world. 5 Nis. Gold Coin: Crafted from 900 fine gold, with a diameter of 22mm and weighing 8.63 grams. 1/2 Nis. Silver Coin: Made from 850 fine silver, with a diameter of 23mm and weighing 7.2 grams.
