Ulrich Felzmann 35th e@uction
January 16th - 20th, 2023
Philately
More than 4,000 individual lots are presented at Felzmann's 35th e@uction. This first auction under the leadership of Dr Reinhard Fischer will begin for all friends of philately on 17 January 2023. The extensive selection ranges from aero philately to China, the USA and Switzerland - to pick out just a few areas - to old Germany, the German Empire & territories up to the post-war period. In doing so, it is particularly important to us to always present collector-friendly, detailed, meaningfully described and qualitatively adequate offers. Traditionally, the philately section starts with the popular area of airmail and zeppelin mail. This comes, among others, with an extremely rare card from the 1930 Vorarlberg Flight (lot 11593, estimate: 800 Euro). Old Germany comes with a 1/3 Sgr on green-olive in a horizontal strip of three (lot 13107, estimate: 4.000 Euro). In this varied programme with particularly attractive starting prices, every passionate collector is sure to find what he is looking for.In the Autographs & Autographs section there is again a wide range of original signatures. A highlight is certainly the Ufa card originally signed by Elvis Presley (lot 11842, estimate: 500 Euro).
Numismatic
For friends of numsimatics, the 35th Felzmann e@uction has a promising offer in store. On 16 January, the first auction at the Felzmann auction house will start under the management of Dr. Reinhard Fischer and you can expect a compact day with well over 600 lots from antiquity to the present. The programme includes numerous (gold) coins, medals, bank notes and orders in extraordinary condition. The section Germany up to 1799 is particularly well stocked in this auction. Here, for example, we find Baden-Durlach with an excellently preserved convention thaler of Karl Friedrich from 1765 (lot 10072, estimate: 250 Euro). In the gold segment, special mention should be made of the German Empire, where Prussia is represented by Wilhelm II (lot 10220, estimate: 400 Euro). In Europe up to 1799 there are great consignments of various origins. Among others, a very beautiful coin of Maria I and Pedro III in excellent condition from Portugal (lot 10321, estimate: 1.000 Euro).
Among the orders and insignia is Spain with a very rare 1st model of the Order of the Yoke and the Arrows (lot 10613, estimate: 400 Euro).
All lots can be found with numerous illustrations and certificates in the online catalog. Further scan requests will be gladly processed (scans@felzmann.de).
